NeosKosmos: Moving Pictures raises dementia awareness with videos for CALD communities on World Alzheimer’s Day

World Alzheimer’s Day falls on 21 September and the National Ageing Research Institute (NARI) is making sure everyone gets a chance at understanding the illness. The Moving Pictures project pioneered by NARI launched 12 short films in Italian, Greek, Vietnamese, and Spanish aimed at raising awareness about dementia among culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Moving Pictures II Launches

Moving Pictures virtual launch Our latest tranche of films in Italian, Spanish, Greek, and Vietnamese were launched on 21/09/21. Special guest speakers included Minister for Senior Australians and Aged Care Services, Senator the Hon Richard Colbeck, Ita Buttrose AC, OBE and importantly some of the carers who have contributed to Moving Pictures. Community Evaluation of the Moving Pictures films
